GT-Digital NPM1-W288fs*12 Insertion Detection Assay
GT-Digital NPM1-W288fs*12 Insertion Detection Assay for the Bio-Rad QX200™ Droplet Digital™ PCR System
The dPCR NPM1 Mutation Detection Assay Kit for the Bio-Rad QX200™ Droplet Digital™ PCR System is a Research Use Only molecular reagent kit containing all primers, probes, and controls for the detection of DNA with NPM1 mutations common in acute myeloid leukemia (AML). The assay is designed to detect over 40 mutation types, including Type A, B, and D mutations.
This drop-off assay binds within the amplicon downstream from the c.863 insertion site and to a non-mutated sequence at the c.863 insertion site resulting in a drop-off assay with the presence of an insertion mutation and a control that detects all copies of amplicon. The reaction provides detection of insertion mutations at W288 from the non-mutated sequences. The reaction does not discriminate between the types of insertions at W288. This kit includes one primer probe solution and qualitative controls. The W288cfs*12 control contains the most common insertion (Type A: c.863insTCTG).

Reaction Mutation Targets
Reaction is for detection of insertion mutations at W288 from the non-mutated sequences
Controls Included
This kit includes three controls including a qualitative NPM1 wild-type, Type A mutation, and an NPM1 Type A: Wild-Type Mixed Positive controls.
The W288cfs*12 mutation control contains the most common insertion (Type A: c.863insTCTG)
Highly Sensitive
Detect as few as 3 target copies per reaction
Robust
Eliminate interference from PCR inhibitors compared to real-time quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR)
High Throughput
Multiplex for faster throughput and lower reagent cost
Compatible
Use with formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE), liquid biopsy, fresh/frozen tissue, cell-free DNA (cfDNA), circulating tumor (ctDNA), bone marrow, whole blood, and low-yield samples
